Crop Season
Fenugreek seeds are the small, golden-brown seeds of the fenugreek plant (Trigonella foenum-graecum), native to the Mediterranean region. Harvesting fenugreek seeds involves waiting for the plant to reach maturity, typically about four to five months after planting. The seeds are harvested by hand or machine once the pods have turned yellowish-brown and begin to crack open. After harvest, the seeds are dried thoroughly to reduce moisture content and enhance their flavor and shelf life.
